Board Approved Supervision
Averil is a Clinical Supervisor with over 10 years experience supervising emerging and experienced Psychologists. Averil is a supervisor trainer providing 3 Part Supervisor Training and Master classes with ACAP for the past few years. Averil is experienced in the training of Psychologists having developed and lead the Professional Psychology Programs including the new Clinical Psychology Endorsement pathways, the Masters of Clinical Psychology Program and the 5+1 Pathway at ACAP as well as directly supervising placements. Averil has spent much of her clinical life in NSW health including working in specialty services at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, in private hospitals and as Manager of the Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS).
She has supervised a number of NSW Health community mental health teams and was a founding member of the NSW Placement Consortium for Psychologists in training.

The format focuses on complex case discussion, training and CPD requirements, legal and ethical requirements, and professional development via facilitated discussion.
She has supervised a number of NSW Health community mental health teams and was a founding member of the NSW Placement Consortium for Psychologists in training.
